Greens come to St Albans to spread the word

St Albans highlighted by Eastern Region as area of growing Green support

Green activists from around the region visited St Albans on Saturday 28 February, to boost the local Green Party.

The Eastern Region Green Party chose St Albans as a place with strong and growing Green support, to benefit from an 'action day'.

Around 15 Greens spent the day talking to people in central St Albans, finding out their views on local issues.

The Green Party is preparing for a double election day on June 4th, when the County elections and the Euro elections will both be held.

The party is hoping to add to its tally of two Green MEPs, and to send more councillors to Hertfordshire Council.
