Greens' Deputy Leader visits St Albans

St Albans Green Party played host to the party’s deputy leader, Amelia Womack, on Saturday (24 Feb).

Amelia Womack (pictured centre) visited St Albans to support the local party’s campaigning in the run up to the next local elections in May.

She joined St Albans Green councillor Simon Grover and St Peters ward campaigner Keith Cotton (pictured right) for an afternoon of talking to residents on the doorstep.

Amelia Womack said, "St Albans is proof of the difference just one Green voice can make. Simon Grover made history when he became the city’s first Green councillor, and since then he has worked tirelessly to clean up St Albans’ air and make the city a better place to live. Imagine what could be achieved with more elected Greens like Simon holding the council to account. It’s a privilege to visit St Albans and help make that a reality.”
